I used to feature weekly.. then monthly... and it's progressively died down to nothing. Time just isn't my friend. I should put features together again though, it's refreshing to see artwork from the community.

My biggest hangup in featuring at first was that I felt like I needed some sort of "theme" or commonality. And it seemed daunting to go through my extensive favorites collections to do something like that. Then it occurred to me that I could just feature all the things I faved in the last week. It's worked out really well for nearly 3 months now! I've started doing a weekly (although that may change) themed news article based on my collections, starting with mermaids etc. That's been a lot of fun too since it's refreshed my memory on some of the great pictures I've faved in the last 3 years.

hm.. I'm guilty of the theme thing too. I usually choose a word or something and search dA. I don't typically pull from my own favorites collection.. not a bad idea though.
