Artist's Comments

Alright, so I decided to make this so the message is as simplistic as possible.

I don't report any policy violations out of spite, I report policy violations because I love what this community represents and I want it's true intent to flourish--artists sharing their original artworks and their fans cheering them on. That's honestly all there is to it.

I'll report my watchers or people I watch just as I'd report a complete stranger if they obviously violate dA policies. Who you are isn't relevant. I do it for dA and nothing else. It's my small contribution to help improve the quality of the community I love.

Please :+fav: if you use it. Thanks.

 So true. I do the same to my watchers, if only for the betterment of dA.

Eh.. I just got tired of repeating myself. Hopefully this will help everyone understand: it's nothing personal.

you suck. that's the truth. simple, isn't it?
:iconlostkitten:
I suck... because I support the policies that govern deviantART?

And I'd have to disagree on it being truth. Your statement is merely an opinion.

Nice stamp but if people report me for something, I find it offensive. That's just my opinion. ^^

You know, the only irony of me is that I deeply despise Fan/Doujishin-Yaoi, but OC-Yaoi I don’t mind at all, i'll even fav it if cute enough, the creators DID make them that way. Don’t find me offensive because I don’t fan shit like Aku-Roku, and crap.
:iconlostkitten:
So it offends you to follow the rules of a site you've joined? I don't understand that, if you disagree with what the rules of dA are, why would you stay in the community? It's not like the person who reports you will without a doubt get the deviation removed, it's only removed if it actually does break the rules. If you read the FAQs before you submit something to be sure it's OK for you to submit, then you won't have to worry about anything being reported/removed.

No, because my stuff get removed without warning, like I might've done something on accident. I don't get a chance to fix it first before removal. I don't bother re-uploading it because one time it got taken off again even with nothing showing. (fixed version)

The person who reports could atleast give some head ups on something and tell the person what they ould get in trouble for instead of being a coward and reporting the deviantion without the person figuring who did it. I can't talk myself because i've reported some things, well these were people I hated and ones who gave me issues in the past and spam, etc.

All these issues happened to me in the past though, I know the rules now.

So... you do realize your statement is completely hypocritical... not to mention entirely spiteful in your decisions on who to report.

The person who reports could atleast give some head ups on something and tell the person what they ould get in trouble for instead of being a coward and reporting the deviantion without the person figuring who did it. I can't talk myself because i've reported some things, well these were people I hated and ones who gave me issues in the past and spam, etc.

Personally, I do my best to treat everyone equally. Whether you're a new deviant or a Gallery Director/Staff Member, if from my understanding of the rules it seems to violate the policies that govern deviantART, I'm going to report it and I'm going to let you know exactly why. The reason most probably don't say anything and choose to be a coward--as you say--is because some policy violators take things personal and start to attack the person who reported them. Rather than dealing with that drama, people report and move on. And based on your initial comment, I presume you would be one of those offended individuals.

...if people report me for something, I find it offensive.

A little food for thought.
