A random thought of mine that I felt would make an ideal stamp. Things like this pop into my head all the time. :shrug:

I think it's due to the fact that most consider writing to be a hobby, but it really is a way of life to manage the time to write, work, and have a family.

There's nothing beyond my random thought process to inspire this, but I think it proves a point I'm sure writers--and other artists--can agree with.

Eh.. I guess it does depend on where you go with it. ;p

I'm pursuing publication so it's a bit more than a hobby for me, personally. I get where you're coming from though, for some it is only a hobby and yet still has a certain devotion to time that it's required to be a significant part of your life. :)

Best of luck with your publishing aspirations. My comment was a poor attempt at facetiousness, but I truly take your point. When I'm trying to write, and I'm really "on a roll", my every living hour is dedicated to my work, regardless of other responsibilities, which, of course, must be worked into the creative reverie. It's the same with writing music, or painting. It gives us a delightful way to use our time for our own pleasure and that of others, as well. You're welcome for the rose. Cheers! :heart:

Thank you. :) I'm waiting for word back from an agency who seems to have a lot of interest in my first book, but I think if she does represent me I'm going to have a lot of work ahead of me. The first one is only 34k or so... not novel size. I already know what would happen next.. I tried to give it an open ending to make room for future books, but I think it may be too small so I'll have to combine it all into one book. :nod:

Artistic expression is a wonderful thing, I have sympathy for those who lose their style to main-stream media though. :(
